• The online package insert for Abilify Maintena lists some select pharmacies that will actually provide the injection • www.otsukapatientsupport.com/abilify-maintena • Client in outpatient services whose Father was trained in providing the injection (through a pharmacy program) • Another team is also having a pharmacy give IMs, when available, or WA, entirely remote services. • Nurses on the ACT team in Duluth Mn have trained the Psychiatrist to give IM's in case their nurses fall ill. Also, their Nurse Practioner can give them if that is needed as well. • Some pharmacies around the Chicagoland area are doing injections, on site, at the pharmacy • Give a surgical mask to the person served who is getting the IM and have specific protocol on giving the client the mask (for example, maintaining a 6ft distance, placing the mask on a surface, allowing the client to come get the mask without getting closer than 6ft). • See if clients that are on Invega Sustena can be moved to Trinza. That way they only need an injection once every three months instead of once a month.
